Field Engineer
So after the online assessment for Field Engineer, which I took as a CSE student for the CSE role, if you do well, they'll invite you to a GD round at their office. The GD round is pretty straightforward, with about 10 people in a batch and 3 interviewers. Then, there's a written test for the Early Career Trainee role to check coding and technical skills in things like vbscript and MS Excel. The technical interview was mostly questions from my resume and projects, testing my quick thinking, and they asked about the contract duration. The HR round was super awkward, with irrelevant questions about current affairs, which they seemed to think tested knowledge, even though it wasn't related to the field. The HR person also seemed clueless about technical stuff; I explained my ML project clearly, but they got confused about tokenization in NLP versus security authentication tokens, and despite my explanation, they weren't satisfied, got angry, and I just hated that part.

After passing the Hirevue online assessment, I had a Teams call with the regional manager and development head. It was about 30 minutes long, and they made a decision within a few days. We couldn't use cameras, so it was tough to gauge body language, but everyone seemed like a reasonable person.

Field Engineering Intern
We had an interview using the HireVue platform, which was an AI-based round. We had to record our answers to 6 behavioral questions. For each question, we had 3 minutes to present our answer. Before starting, we were given 1 minute to prepare. We were only allowed one attempt to answer each question.
