The interview process for the internship is pretty standard. They asked me a lot of questions about my past experiences and what I hope to achieve in the future. A lot of emphasis was placed on my future goals and what drives me.

I had a screening interview for this role, which was pretty standard. After that, I was asked to schedule an in-person interview with the hiring managers. But, less than a day before my scheduled interview, I got an email saying it was cancelled because of "unforeseen circumstances" and that someone named Baker would get in touch to reschedule. I sent an email with my availability to reschedule and didn't hear anything back. I sent another follow-up a week later and was finally told the role was filled and to just "keep an eye out for future opportunities." It was a really unprofessional and disappointing experience overall.

First, there was a 30-minute phone chat with the person I'd report to. It was a rapid-fire question session covering a lot of ground. The questions themselves weren't super tough, but there were a lot of them coming at me quickly. After that, I had an onsite interview with my direct report. While I was waiting in the reception area for them, I was given an Accounting skills test. Then, a second onsite interview happened with the direct report and some other managers.

The interview process started with a phone screen. Then, there were two in-person rounds. The first was with general HR, and the second was with the hiring manager for the role. Be ready to ask questions that are important to you so you both can get a better understanding. It's a pretty standard and smooth process.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe a time you made an estimating error on a project that was ultimately awarded, and how you handled it?
  • Tell me about the most significant mistake you made in your previous role.
