Candidate-reported interview process

I had a recruiter call for a Product Management role in Utah, but after the initial conversation I never heard back, not even a rejection, and it’s been about four months now. The whole process felt a bit disorganized. With the recent ownership change, it seemed like things were already getting rocky during interviews, and there was mention of a lot of turnover on the software side. Candidate experience definitely needs improvement.

I started with a recruiter chat, then spoke with the hiring manager, and finally had an in-person meeting with the executive team. The whole thing was pretty fast, smooth, and easy, moving along quicker than I thought it would.

The interview was super chill and mostly conversational, not as stressful as others I've had. The interviewer seemed more interested in how I'd fit into the team and the vibe of the workplace, instead of just my past experience or what I know. It really felt like they wanted to get to know me as a person and how I work.
