Babcock International Group Project Manager interviews, decoded.

We had a chat about general competency based questions, like 'name a time you've worked in a team' and 'describe how you would overcome a complex problem'. They also asked about my background, why I am interested in this role above others, and what about Babcock inspires me to work there.

Interview stage was great, two very easy going assessors. Presentation question was very vague, assessors were strict on brief. Group task as you would expect, scenario which you had to work with two other candidates. Overall, useful learning experience!

It was a one-step interview as a contractor. It was mainly a discussion with a manager and another staff member. All questions were about what they wanted from the contractor and how the contractor would be able to carry out his/her roles.
