The interview process in Germany was quite quick, wrapping up in about six weeks from the initial interviews to the contract signing, which also accounted for a couple of weeks of negotiation. I had a great impression of the team, and everyone I spoke with was really welcoming.
So after they complimented my essay on languages, I did an introduction and talked about my career goals. The hiring manager then did the same. After that, they asked me about my foreign language experience, like how many I speak and how I learned them. Finally, they asked if I was willing to relocate to Berlin for the job.
the interviewer seemed unfriendly and seemed to decide I wasn't a good fit right away, asking questions that felt negative. It was unclear why I was even invited if they made such a quick judgment.
