The hiring process lasted for 2 months. It began when I received an invitation from an HR agency on LinkedIn. First, I had a call with an HR representative from the agency. Then, I completed a take-home assignment. After that, I had a technical call with the engineering manager and two other engineers. This was followed by a culture fit call. Finally, they extended an offer for a B2B contract.
The interview process kicked off with an HR screen, followed by a chat with the hiring manager. Then, there was an assignment where the goal was to build a service for creating mock end-points. The final stage was a team interview, specifically for the senior backend Engineer role on their data team.
I had a call with the recruiter, then a take-home assignment. It was such a time waste because the company doesn't even have the courtesy to give feedback even after I asked for it. They give such a lengthy assignment and ask not to spend more than 2 hours on it. And they themselves don't have time for responding back to the candidate.
