The Baanyan interview process is pretty structured and professional. It kicks off with a recruiter chat. Then, you'll dive into one or two technical interviews that really dig into coding basics, React/JavaScript stuff, and how you solve problems. They like to hear about your actual project experience, your thoughts on architecture, and how you approach testing. Usually, there's also a manager or behavioral interview to check out your teamwork, ownership skills, and how you communicate. All in all, it feels pretty organized and they're looking for solid fundamentals, clean code, and someone who can handle working in a big enterprise banking setup.
The interview process involved a single phone interview round. They asked questions about Java, specifically focusing on OOP concepts and basic Java. There were also questions about React and its components. I had to describe a project from my resume. It was challenging, but I received an offer.
HR will directly call you to schedule a phone interview, they usually do not email.
