Software Engineer
It's all about technical questions! Focus on learning C++ really well since that's what they ask about most. I spent a lot of time studying the company and their projects, but they didn't even ask about that! They will also ask you about your CV and to explain a few projects you've worked on. It might change for your interview, so my only advice is to study the language you know best deeply.
- Can you explain the difference between a protected and a private class?
- What is a deconstructor and what is its purpose?
- What exactly is a keyword in C++?
Software Engineer
Face to face interview with two team leaders and the head of hardware and software division in the London head office. Afterwards, phone interview with technical director with whom I discussed how would I contribute to the business (i.e. few ideas and questions I had during the site visit)
- Can you propose a design for a Monopoly variant?
- What is your process for finding a bug?
- Can you answer some traditional C++ questions on sample code, such as the difference between pass by value and reference?
Software Engineer
It was a really nice experience. First, a phone screening, then a technical interview that focused on real-world problems rather than typical LeetCode-style algorithm questions. After that, there was a short assessment test, followed by a final interview where I had to describe and explain my solution.
- What do you expect from your manager?
