Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bühler Group.
Intern
It was pretty relaxed, the person was friendly. They told me about the company and benefits. It was an online interview at first. They explained the processes and how I helped at other companies. They asked simple, direct questions. They told me what the company does and about career plans.
- Why do you want to work for this company?
Intern
They started with a written task about who you are, your dreams and goals for your professional life. Then there was an English test to evaluate your knowledge in your field of study. They also asked about your family, your college, your relationships, friendships, knowledge, wants, and desires.
- Tell me about your dreams and what you want to achieve professionally.
- What are your biggest challenges as a person and as a professional?
- Describe the type of environment where you feel comfortable and happy.
Intern
It started with some small-talk, then the company introduced themselves, and then I introduced myself (talking about my background, weaknesses, strengths, and goals). It's important not to underestimate those first moments of getting to know each other. So, the motto is: smile, be friendly and polite, make eye contact, and dress appropriately for the interview beforehand.
- Why would you like to work for us?
