B+H Architect interviews, decoded.

The French director was unfriendly and impatient. The two front desk ladies were rude. It was an unpleasant interview. After the interview, the director asked me to email him some detailed drawings. I sent two files but never heard back from the company.

I applied online for a landscape architect role, but also mentioned my interest in learning and potential intern positions. About one to two weeks later, I received an interview invitation. The interview was with the office managing director and the manager of the landscape architecture team. They asked about my education, my vision for my home city, and how I'd handle disagreements. The interview was brief. A week or two after that, I had a short follow-up with the HR manager specifically about the intern position, covering my availability and desired internship duration in months.

I had a normal interview with the VP. It was a standard formal interview with logical, natural questions. Five days later, I got a call to start working.
