AXA / France Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

I had one or two interviews with operational people. It was more concrete, they asked me questions about lived situations, my technical skills and my way of working in a team. For some positions, there might be tests or a case study, but in my case, I didn't have any. Finally, I had a final interview with a more senior manager. We talked about my vision for the role, my expectations, and the environment at AXA. I found it reassuring, you can feel that they want to make sure that the role and the company really match what we are looking for too.

For me, I did 4 interviews, including a technical interview with the manager and the head of the IT guild, 2 HR interviews, and finally an interview with a manager from AXA France's CIO.

They reviewed my university background, like my major and how demanding the coursework was, and also went over my resume. Then, we talked about the projects I've done, including the technologies involved. Finally, there were a few fairly straightforward technical questions.
