Avvo Account Executive interviews, decoded.

It was a 2 step interview process. First, I talked to the recruiter and answered questions about my sales background and experience. Then, I had a second interview over Zoom with two managers, who I met with individually. They asked me typical sales questions.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, there was a phone screen with a recruiter covering basic questions. Then, a 2-hour video interview with two sales managers followed. This part included a mock sales call, where I could pitch Avvo or something else. I also had to do a writing sample, which was a mock email to a friend about Avvo.

The hiring process spanned about two weeks. It started with two phone interviews, followed by a panel interview. I was led to a room with a nice view where I went through four interviews, each lasting half an hour. Most of these interviews involved two or more interviewers, with the exception of the final interview with the sales director.
