Avetta Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The whole interview process felt really good, like everything was planned out and moved fast. They kept me in the loop about what was happening. Starting the job was also super quick and easy. Everyone I talked to was nice, professional, and made me feel comfortable, which was great all the way through.

So first, I had a typical phone chat with the recruiter. After that, I hopped on a video call with a team lead. Then, the last part was a video call with a group of engineers for a technical interview. This last one was kinda weird though. They all came on, said hi, and then just turned off their cameras and didn't say much the rest of the time. It really felt like they had already decided and just wanted to get it over with.

My interview process had some hiccups. The first recruiter call was 15 minutes late with no real explanation, though they did apologize. Also, the panel interview got cancelled really close to when it was supposed to start, just 20 minutes beforehand. These scheduling issues weren't great and I think they could improve how they manage appointments and keep candidates in the loop.
