It was a typical interview process with 3-4 interviews. The HR team was really good, very communicative and kept me updated at every step. It started with the HR recruiter, then I met with the lead managers, and finally with the Directors.
So I spent a bunch of time over five weeks talking to Avetta — first 2 phone calls, then 5 formal interviews on Teams with different people there, including some senior folks. They said I'd hear back right after the last one. But... nothing. I followed up four times with three different people and got zero replies, not even a "got it." Putting someone through seven interviews over weeks and then ghosting them is pretty bad manners and makes you wonder about how they work and communicate there. Other people should know this before they sign up for a long interview process.
It was pretty chill, and the interviewers were super nice and easy to chat with. Started with a recruiter call, then a chat with the Hiring Manager, and finished with calls with the VP of CS and the Director of CS. I got a good amount of time to ask my questions with the HM, but in the last interview, they only gave me like 5 mins out of a 45 min chat to ask anything, which felt rushed. I interviewed on a Thursday night and they said I'd hear back by the next Wednesday at the latest. I had to follow up three times, and finally, over a week and a half later, they let me know they went with other people. Would've been cool to know sooner without me chasing them, especially to be rejected.
