Avanade Systems Engineer interviews, decoded.

It was a long interview and hiring process. They had several interviews with key people to make sure you fit the organization. Interviews were with HR, the Service line Director, and the Group manager.

First there was a quick phone call to set up an HR interview. After that, I had an HR interview and they set up another interview with someone in the role I want. Then I spoke with an employee in my role, mostly to ask them questions about the job. Finally, I interviewed with a regional manager. It was a little technical, but mostly focused on the tech projects and experiences on my resume. Overall, the process was good. They didn't focus too much on technical stuff; it was more about what kind of person I am and how I work with others, which is important for consulting-type jobs.

I applied and a couple of weeks later I heard back. There were 4 total interviews. First was with HR. Second was with a Systems Engineer. The last two interviews were on the same day on-site. The group exercise was the hardest part.
