Avanade Backend Engineer interviews, decoded.

Had a 15-min screen call with the TA. Then, an online programming test was assigned, which had to be completed within 2 days. It involved a few MCQs and a C# test, and was fairly straightforward. A few days later, I got an email inviting me for a face-to-face interview at Accenture Kelana Jaya the following week. This included a simple programming test, a general competency test, and two interview sessions with different managers. The vibe was really chill and relaxed; they encouraged us to ask questions about Avanade to see if we were a good fit. Finally, there was a closing call to discuss working arrangements with the group manager. The final offer came the next day.

The interview went well, but the client demanded tech stacks that were unrealistic for a backend developer role focused on .net. They asked about concepts more applicable to a DevOps role, rather than those commonly used in backend development.

Technical interview to understand object-oriented programming logic, database logic, logical thinking, LINQ, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Entity Framework Core, MongoDB, SQL Server, C#, threads, dependency injection, etc...
