The interview process spans 3 to 4 stages. Stage three is a skills assessment where candidates create a high-level business framework based on given instructions within 30-45 minutes, then present it to a group. This might be overkill and not a true measure of success. The salary is also quite low for the industry. Questions were standard PM interview questions found on LinkedIn or Google. On the plus side, the hiring manager and team were nice and the role is fully remote.
First, a recruiter will call you. Then, you'll meet with the Department manager. Finally, there's a meeting with the hiring committee, which includes Leadership and senior technicians. Be ready to talk about your soft skills and technical knowledge in AD, Networking, Virtualization, and Monitoring.
It was a chill chat about your past work and what you're qualified for. They wanted to see if the job would be good for you and if you'd fit into the company. The interviewer didn't ask a ton of questions, more just let things flow naturally.
