The interview process was by invitation before application, but was a competitive process. It started with a recruiter, then a subject matter expert or peer, followed by multiple leadership interviews with very open-ended questions to allow flexibility in offer and position responsibilities.
So, the recruiter reached out first. Then I had an interview with another consultant, and finally one with the director. After that first interview, I was ghosted for 4 months. The recruiter reached out again later, and I did all the interview stages this time. A few days later, the recruiter said they were preparing an offer, but it was for a lower-level position than the one I applied for, even after I finished all the rounds. Then they ghosted me again after I followed up. It was really unprofessional, not a company I'd want to work for.
I thought everything was going great as the process moved very fast but I was completely ghosted after 4 interviews. In 2025 - the era of communication, this is just totally disrespectful.
