Everything was done over chat, with 3 rounds. First up was a quick technical chat. Then, a short coding challenge. Lastly, a paid trial.
The interview process was very long and complex, and a significant part involved a paid technical project. Candidates were integrated with the company for a period, working on tests alongside others, which was a cool experience. However, the evaluation method was questionable; there was no documentation on internal coding best practices, leading to criticism of the implementation pattern after completion, even if the work was good.
It was a thorough interview process consisting of three stages: Application, Code Test, and Trial. The trial stage has two parts, testing your attention to details and system design understanding. Passing all three stages leads to an offer.
