Candidate-reported interview process

First, I had a call with the recruiter to talk about the role and my experience. Then, I got a take-home assignment. After that, there was a technical interview which included live coding and a review of the take-home. Then I interviewed with the manager for both technical aspects and culture fit. Finally, they made an offer.

The interview process was really good. All the technical questions asked are related to the tech stack used in the organization and were in depth. Interviewers are focusing on the knowledge, and mindset of the candidate of approaching the problem, and not in the syntax. Process consists - HR interview (getting to know and set of predefined technical questions - topics are informed earlier before the interview). - Coding round (Pair programming session) - In depth technical interview on programming language and frameworks - System design interview

The HR person was 5 minutes late and didn't turn on their camera. They immediately started asking questions without apologizing for the delay. It felt like they were asking robotic, non-stop technical and behavioral questions. It was strange because it seemed like an HR person was conducting a technical interview.
