AUTO1 Group Marketing Manager interviews, decoded.

So, I had my interview and they said they would let me know by next week at the latest. I emailed them two weeks later and they said the hiring managers were on vacation, so it would take longer. Two more weeks passed, and I followed up again but never got a response (this was a month after the interview). I had forgotten all about it, and then two months later I got an email saying they found someone else. Throughout this whole time, I kept seeing the job posting being reposted (which might have been automatic). Honestly, it wasn't even about getting the job; it was more about the professionalism of responding when asked, not sending an email three months later.

It was a 2-step interview: first a call with HR, then a pretty long interview with a team member focusing on skills, experiences, and lots of specific questions. Unfortunately, no proper feedback or follow-up email was provided.

The entire process was super clear from the get-go. I had 3 interviews in about 2 weeks. The technical interview was an hour and 15 minutes, and they asked me stuff about my background and a case study. Overall, things moved really fast, and the interviewers were very friendly.
