Auto Club of Southern California Sales Representative interviews, decoded.

It was a 3 step interview process. I had to take pre-qualification testing and then go through 4 months of training. After training, I was placed in an office, but I didn't know which one during the training process. I never heard about compensation until I was placed.

The interview process was pretty extensive, I got through some testing and an initial chat. I felt pretty good about it. Then I had a panel interview that didn't go so well. I studied a lot of sample questions from this site for hours, which was helpful for this kind of interview with AAA. I thought my answers were solid, but I wasn't ready for the last part. The regional manager was really rude and critical about my past jobs. He said my resume didn't make sense and I didn't seem motivated enough for AAA. I think he was trying to provoke me to see how I'd handle stress. Things went downhill fast after that and I got frustrated, which I'm sure was obvious.

It was a long process, five months in total. I applied online and after a long wait, I got sent a personality test. A few days after that, a recruiter called and set up a phone interview. The very next day I had that interview and then was invited for an in-person. The in-person was rough because the guy interviewing me was really negative and condescending.
