Auth0 Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview process was pretty standard. I went through the first two rounds of technical interviews with senior engineers. They ghosted me at the end, not letting me know if I was still being considered and not replying to my emails at all. The recruiters were nice, and some of the engineers were too, being knowledgeable and friendly. The questions were based on the domain. It's common courtesy to communicate and thank applicants for their time, otherwise, they won't apply. This approach could hurt the company's reputation in the long run. I hope they notice this review and similar ones and make a change.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn a few times and then connected me with the hiring recruiter. We then had a phone call that lasted about an hour. The questions were all behavioral, and not related to any technical experience.

I had a quick chat with a recruiter, and they asked some basic and behavioral questions. Since it was a senior role, they also asked about leading a team and managing conflict. Unfortunately, I didn't move past the initial recruiter call.
