Auth0 Application Support Engineer interviews, decoded.

The whole thing took about a month. Started with a 30 min recruiter chat, then two 1 hour tech interviews over zoom. After that, I had a take-home challenge that took me about a week. While doing the challenge, I joined a slack channel to chat with the team. Once they reviewed the challenge, I had one last zoom interview, and then they made an offer the very next day. Pretty happy with how Auth0 handled it! I'm not a big fan of live coding on a whiteboard, so the take-home test was way better than what other companies offer.

The interview process included an HR interview, a manager interview, and interviews with peers that were technical in nature. There was also a small project designed to simulate working with a part of the team. Overall, it felt like a pretty complete process, and everything was done remotely.

It was a small company so hopefully they'll learn all the tricks to this. One of the moderators seemed like he had made up his mind even before I started answering questions.
