Austrade Interview Questions

It was a 30-minute interview. They asked 2 situational questions and 3 personal questions. They gave us time to think and answer. We were told about the policy terms and conditions of the job in advance.

The interview process had 3 chats: first was a quick check on start time, expectations, and your past experiences. Second, we dove deeper into how you'd handle organizational strategies. Lastly, we talked about more specific day-to-day scenarios you'd face in the job if you got it.

It's a typical government hiring process, starting with a written application, followed by an interview, and then reference checks. The whole thing took about 3 months. There wasn't much help from the time I got a verbal offer until my first day. You'll need to be proactive and follow up because there were mixed messages about the process, what documents were needed, and the timeline.
