Candidate-reported interview process

I had 2 phone screens. The first one was with a Senior Manager and it went pretty well. It felt like they were just reading standard questions. The second screen was with another Manager. She was asking standard questions and mentioned she was hired about 2 months ago. She seemed distracted and couldn't focus on her questions. As the interview went on, she realized I had way more experience than her, and by the end, it was clear I wouldn't get an offer.

The recruiter was easy to talk to, and we exchanged some banter after the serious questions. The recruiter was asking behavioral questions, which I hadn't been expecting. Keep following up with them if they don't respond to you. Mine apparently lost my email in her inbox.

I submitted my application online, which included my cover letter, resume, and portfolio. The next week, I got an email to schedule a call. I had a pretty chill chat with the hiring manager, talking about 50/50 on the role and my background. It seemed to go okay, not amazing, but they hinted at a second interview. Then, they ghosted me until I followed up, and I was told it was a no. No feedback at all.
