So first, we did a phone screen, then I went for an on-site group interview with the department. A few days later, they contacted me to ask for permission for a background/references check, though they apparently don't actually do them. Then they made an offer, I got drug tested, passed that, and then went to orientation.
I had a phone screen first, and then an in-person interview. All in all, I met with three employees for a half-day session. They asked straightforward questions about my experience, what I'm looking for, and my motivations. They also spent some time explaining the job and what they expect.
I got an interview about a week after I applied. There were 2 interviews. The first one was with the senior specialist and the second one was with the team lead and the team manager. Each interview was about 30 minutes. I got a call about the position the next week.
