Candidate-reported interview process

I was recruited from outside the region. I learned later that this was the case with many hires, who are lured by the size of the organization. The interview process was lengthy and disorganized. The HR recruiter was overloaded to the point of making me feel like an appointment rather than a person.

I was interviewed back in Sept 2012, got an interview request in late October. The on-site interview was scheduled in Charlotte, NC for November. Since I'm an out-of-state candidate, I interviewed for multiple management positions from 10am to 3pm. I even ate lunch during my interviews, which was a first. I met with peers, direct reports, and the VP in IT.

The interview process is pretty simple. You'll talk to the hiring manager first, and then probably do a peer interview. They'll ask about your experience and skills related to teamwork, fitting into the company culture, integrity, and so on. It'll also include questions about leadership skills like strategic thinking, driving growth, building and leading strong teams, and working with others.
