It was a really long process, spanning about 3 months. It started with a quick phone call asking me to come in for an interview. Then I had an in-person interview with the head of the department. After that, I had a second interview where I met with a group of doctors and most of the people in the department.
HR pulled my resume from Indeed.com, but I never actually spoke to anyone from HR. I interviewed with the department manager and the executives I'd be supporting. It was weird that I never officially met anyone from HR for my role. And when I resigned, HR didn't even reach out for an exit interview. I'm not sure what HR does there.
It was a brief, open, and good interview overall. It really depends on who interviews you. The group that interviewed me were very friendly and warm. I'm still waiting to hear back for the results if I received the job position or not. Only time can tell.
