Candidate-reported interview process

Interview was easy-to-average level asking various system/Linux and C++ questions. Also asked various questions related to C++ and system support handling and SaaS products. The job role was for IT support and working in IT support timings.

It was a telephonic interview, where they asked me technical questions about operating systems and the platforms we use. We also talked about my past jobs and experience. They also discussed salary and incorporation date details. That was pretty much it.

I came on site for an interview but it turned out to be a Technical Exam with a huge range of technologies. It was a written exam covering lots of topics, and most questions asked for very specific commands that are not used often and would require looking up the syntax if needed. The questions were also really vague and open ended, which felt totally unfair and really put me off the role.
