It was a university-based internship for a part-time master student. The company had fixed conditions and a negotiable duration. The process took longer than expected, but it ended positively. There was a general chat with some informal technical questions, no coding involved.
I applied online and was then contacted for a video interview. After that, there was radio silence for 2 months. I called 3 times to try to get news, I was told I would be called back, which never happened. Finally, when I called back after 2 months, someone told me the position had been filled for a while.
The interview process was really smooth and engaging. The interview itself was super interesting, with questions focused on how I'd apply my knowledge, how well I understand data, and how to solve problems using simple approaches.
