Candidate-reported interview process

So I had a phone interview first and then an online aptitude test. Then a 45-minute Skype interview and a background check. It was all pretty easy. After those were done, they called me back saying I did great on the test and interview and that an offer was coming. But the offer letter never showed up and I didn't get any more emails. I emailed them asking for an update and just never heard back. Totally unprofessional end from them. I knew Syntel had tons of bad reviews. Turns out they're all true.

The hiring process started with an online test covering logical reasoning, English, and quantitative aptitude. This was followed by a group discussion round. Next, a technical interview focused on Java and C programming, along with data structures. The final round was a managerial interview, which wasn't too challenging.

The interview process was pretty basic. There were very basic technical questions, but the main focus was on case study based questions. The entire process lasted for about 4 months, starting with an aptitude test in March and ending with a final interview in June. I received the offer on the day of the final interview.
