The hiring journey took around two months, from December to February. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter. After that, I went through three more interviews with the design team, including the design manager. They were all behavioral interviews.
Interview cautiously, this was a huge waste of my time. Completed a phone screen, hiring manager interview, and portfolio presentation and portfolio interview which all went in my opinion and according to the recruiter. While waiting to hear about next steps, my recruiter was replaced. After several weeks I was told by the new recruiter that the team was going in a different direction even though my original recruiter had indicated I was an early and top candidate. Job was reposted a few weeks later.
