I had my first round and didn't pass. I'll try again in 6 months. The recruiting team was really snobby and unprofessional. They called me out of the blue without setting up a time. I was traveling with my toddler, and they wouldn't reschedule. They said I should already know the answers to these questions if I'm applying. It's not just about knowing the answers, but about being able to perform under pressure like in an actual interview.
The interview process at Atlassian involves a technical interview for an hour, followed by another hour-long troubleshooting interview with technical leads. After clearing those, there are two more interviews, each an hour long, focusing on cultural fit and led by management.
We started with an HR screening call, and then moved on to two technical interviews. These covered REST APIs, SQL, Networking, SSO/SAML, front-end troubleshooting, and some scenario-based questions. The questions felt appropriate for a mid or junior level role.
