Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process involved a short 15-minute first interview, followed by a longer, hour-long second interview. It felt very informal. I learned that the role is primarily about sales, with about 95% of the work involving door-to-door sales, even for more advanced positions like Assistant Manager. They highlighted their training and mentorship, which is good, but I'm not looking for a pure sales role. The people there were really friendly, and the work environment seemed positive.

It was a 2 day, 3 step process. I met with the president, Katharine, first. She gave me an overview of the company. The 2nd interview was with a team member. They were nice and very thorough. The 3rd interview was with the assistant manager for about 5 minutes.

After my application was submitted, I had a phone screening. The role I interviewed for was Account Manager, which wasn't what I applied for. Then, a Skype interview was set up. I got the details via text, not email. They rescheduled to an in-person interview without asking me, even though I live out of state. I called to confirm it was indeed a Skype interview. Once that was cleared up, I got an email with a questionnaire. On the day of the interview, nobody was on Skype, and no one tried to reach me. I called the office, and the person I spoke to said she'd figure it out and call me back, but she never did. In the future, just tell me no instead of making me waste my time.
