Candidate-reported interview process
The interview process started with an on-campus interview, followed by an onsite interview. The onsite included a one-hour soft interview, which was mainly behavioral questions and a company pitch. Then there was a 90-minute technical interview where a problem was explained. I chose to whiteboard the solution first and then code it. I made a mistake and ran out of time, but the question was pretty simple and direct. Everyone was friendly, and it feels like an established company.
We had four short interviews with people we would meet in the role. The interviews were a little confusing because we were asked the same or similar questions four times.
It was a phone interview that lasted about 20-30 minutes. The interviewer spent the last 5 minutes talking about why athenahealth is a great place to work. The atmosphere seemed really casual.
