Candidate-reported interview process

First, I had a chat with someone non-technical over the phone. Then, I was given a coding challenge to complete and email back. After that, I got invited for an in-person interview where I had a pretty tough technical part, including analyzing and explaining some Perl code.

there were 3 rounds: technical, managerial, and hr. All were about an hour long and went well. After the rounds, the team discussed and selected the students. The final selection was based on the scores from all the rounds.

It was good. There were 3 interview rounds - a technical/managerial hr round, a general hr round. In the technical/managerial hr round, they asked more about my projects and internships and questions related to DBMS, specifically MySQL. In the general hr round, I did a self-introduction and explained my projects in brief, and they asked some general questions. Overall, the interview was difficult for me.
