Candidate-reported interview process

I went through about 6 phone screens with different people from the team. It took almost 4 months for interviews and calls, and then they told me they were making a decision that week and would let me know. But I never heard back, not even an email about the final decision. After waiting so long, I thought they'd at least tell candidates, but nope.

The process was pretty straightforward. First, I had a phone interview with the director of recruiting and staffing. Then, a second phone interview that was a conference call with the Recruitment Manager and a current Full Life-Cycle Recruiter. The whole interview was professional, but super relaxed, more like a chat than a real interview. They asked me to explain some things on my resume and a couple standard questions, but mostly it was about seeing if I'd fit the team and the company culture. They gave me a lot of background info about the job and the company overall. Everyone was really nice and easy to talk to, not intimidating at all.

The interview process was intense, with 3 rounds: a phone call, a meeting with the Recruiting Team, and then a final meeting with everyone else. I spent a whole day meeting people from different departments, finishing with the CEO who gave me a problem to solve. A major sticking point was that they wanted to check with about 10 references before making an offer, which I didn't really like.
