I was contacted by a recruiting firm who gave me detailed instructions on how to coordinate the interviews and provided contact information. The interview process involved meeting with 6 people, including the Manager, Director, and VP I would be reporting to. The interviews took place over 8 hours, from 9 am to 5 pm, in a dedicated space. Lunch was provided for 30 minutes. The interviewers were friendly and approachable, asked relevant questions, and answered my questions honestly. The work environment was focused, with employees concentrating on their tasks.
The hiring process was very cumbersome, and the interviewers were unprofessional. They didn't speak well of the organization. I had to go back several times for a simple contract position. There wasn't much of a defined process for how things worked there. The interviewers were negative and didn't ask very good interview questions.
HR reached out first, and I had a phone screen. Then the hiring manager reviewed my resume and I had two phone interviews with them. After that, HR contacted me about moving on to an on-site panel interview where I met with multiple managers and a peer.
