Asurion Financial Analyst interviews, decoded.

I had my first round interviews face to face on campus. It was a back-to-back behavioral interview, with 30 minutes for each session. A few days later, I got a call for an on-site interview, which was arranged for the next week. During the on-site interview, I talked with four different interviewers from the same team that the position candidate will work with, including the hiring manager and peers. The interviews were a mix of cases and behavioral questions. The cases were tightly related to their business, cell phone insurance, such as market size estimation and commission calculation. The behavioral questions were very typical ones to gauge your motives, personality, and working style.

I had two phone interviews before coming in for the final interview. They covered my travel expenses for the in-person visit. During the face-to-face, I met with 4 people from the team back-to-back. The vibe was pretty relaxed, and they did most of the talking. Unfortunately, after the interview, I never heard back, and the recruiters went silent.

I was reached out to by a recruiter due to my skills. Then a phone screen with the recruiter, who knew a lot about my field. After that, I had a 1:1 phone interview with the hiring manager. The next step was an on-site interview with the hiring manager, two of his colleagues, and their manager. While things were professional, I felt some panel members weren't fully engaged.
