Candidate-reported interview process

This was an internal move with 4 interviews with people I'd been actively working with. It felt tough, mostly behavioral questions. Interviewing with 4+ people you work with daily/weekly is ignorant, inefficient and costly. It should be 10-15 mins of info review, not 45 mins of formal review (interrogation). You're either a fit or not.

For the interview, you'll first have a panel interview with your peers for an hour. Then, you'll meet with your leaders, and after that, there's a final hour-long interview with the director.

I had a quick 5-minute chat with HR first. About a week later, they got in touch to arrange an on-site interview. For the on-site, I met with one person for 45 minutes, and then two more people for another 45 minutes. They were all pretty chill and seemed easy to talk to.
