Candidate-reported interview process

The process leading up to the in-person interview was straightforward, but the in-person interview itself involved four managers asking rapid-fire situational questions for about an hour. It felt intimidating, but it's manageable with good preparation. Communication between recruiters and the hiring manager was poor, with missed follow-ups and errors.

The interview process is pretty long, expect to have at least 5 interviews, some formal, some informal, over the phone or in person. If it's a field job, you might interview where the Directors are based, and Asurion will cover your flights. Having experience in the industry is helpful, and connections with the industry or a specific client are a bonus. Asurion really likes their Regional Account Managers to have prior retail sales experience, ideally at the District Manager level or above.

This was a weird process that spanned a few weeks. In total, I had seven phone interviews with different people like recruiters, managers, and people I would be working with. Then, I had a face-to-face meeting with my future boss after a phone interview. I was confused because I didn't have a job offer after the in-person meeting, wondering why they put me through all of that. But a couple days later, they called with the offer.
