Aston Technologies Inc. Network Engineer interviews, decoded.

Had four interviews total. First was with the company recruiter. Second was a phone interview with the hiring managers. Third was a zoom call with the recruiter and the sr network engineer. Last one was a zoom with 4 other team members.

First there was a phonescreen interview where we talked about availability and what was needed. After I sent a follow up email, there was another interview that went into more technical questions and some problem solving questions. Then they asked me to explain why I made certain choices for critical thinking.

The interview was short and didn't delve into how my skills align with the role. The interviewer asked questions about my experience but didn't offer much feedback or detail. I felt my non-tech experience wasn't valued, which was odd since the role seemed open to people trying to enter the tech field.
