It started with a phone prescreening, then there were 3 or 4 rounds of panel interviews. Each panel had different team members and each interview was about 30-60 minutes long. They always left plenty of time for my questions, and they were happy to answer them.
It was a pretty standard interview process. First, a recruiter calls you for a phone screening with behavioral questions. If you pass that, you move on to a panel interview with 3 people from the department. Then, if you pass that, your final interview is with another 3 people, and that's where they decide. The questions were asked really mechanically, like a relay. The whole thing took me 3 months because they kept having scheduling issues, and in the end, they totally ghosted me without even a basic rejection email.
I had a phone screening with HR that included behavioral questions. After that, I had a virtual interview with the team, and then another one with the hiring manager.
