First, there was a phone call screening to check if I was eligible. Then, about two weeks later, I had a Zoom interview with a three-person panel. The whole process was pretty straightforward, and they kept me updated the whole time.
I had two interviews for the internship. The first was with a journalist, and the second was with the bureau head. Both chats felt good and were mainly about seeing if I was a good fit. I also had to do a new-writing test to check my news writing and information processing skills.
I had a good interview. It was nice to chat with a journalist and learn about their editorial processes. The person who interviewed me was professional and understanding.
