The interview process felt rushed and disorganized. The first video interview lasted under 20 minutes and lacked any meaningful conversation or evaluation. It was unclear how I was moved forward given how minimal the interaction was. The second interview was even more disappointing. The interviewer appeared distracted and unengaged, making the conversation awkward and unproductive. It did not feel like a serious or thoughtful evaluation of candidates. Communication throughout the process was also lacking. Delayed follow-up and lack of transparency made for a poor overall candidate experience. A more structured and professional approach is needed.
The interview process was pretty structured, starting with a recruiter call to check my background and fit. Then I talked to the Regional HR Manager about my experience and got asked behavioral questions about employee relations and working with leaders. After that, I interviewed with the VP of HR, continuing with experience and behavioral questions, focusing on judgment and values. The last part was a meet-and-greet with the Operations team, including the Branch President, to understand the business and team fit better. It was a thorough process, really emphasizing past experience and behavioral interviewing.
I was ghosted after my in-person interviews with the executive team, who I would have been reporting to and working with. The recruiter didn't follow up or respond to my two follow-up emails asking for an update, and then the role was reposted. I guess that's my answer.
