Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and set up a meeting with two engineering managers. The recruiter mentioned two open positions, one Frontend and one Fullstack, but during the interview, one of the managers stated there was only one position, senior Frontend. This caused some confusion. Then, one of the managers used ChatGPT to find out what a senior frontend developer should know and started asking questions. It felt unprofessional and hostile, which was strange since they contacted me first and wanted to schedule the interview, only to grill me on things I didn't even apply for.

The whole interview process spanned about 5 to 6 weeks. It was a slow process, requiring a lot of time to coordinate with interviewers, but overall it went smoothly without any hidden traps during the interviews.

They asked me personal questions, like who I live with and my sexual orientation, which is illegal. They showed me pictures of people who work there drunk. During the interview, they ignored me to take calls. They also told me that if selected, I would have to tolerate the heavy atmosphere of jokes and disrespect because that's how they normally interact there.
