Had a screening call, then a hiring manager interview about 3 weeks later. Communication was really bad throughout the whole process. The hiring manager didn't seem engaged at all right from the start of our video call.
Got really positive vibes and feedback like 'exactly what we're looking for' and that I had the right experience. But, they ended up rejecting me. Even though I had relevant experience, it was because of my age.
The whole thing took over 3 months, way too long. It felt like they dragged it out for no reason and it was all very unclear. I was left waiting for ages. The HR person was in and out, so it took about a month to even get going. Everything seemed fine, and then suddenly I got rejected.
