AspenTech Engineer interviews, decoded.

I got contacted by a recruitment agency about this job. They asked if I wanted to do a phone interview, and I said yes. I ended up having five phone interviews, all international. After those went well, I had a face-to-face interview, which I also passed. Even though I passed all the interviews over three months, I didn't get the job.

So I applied and then I got a call from HR who wanted to set up a time to chat with the hiring manager and talk about salary stuff. The interview itself was online and was just a 1-on-1. They asked a bunch of personality and behavioral questions. We also talked about my resume and the job.

Applied and got an email from a recruiter, David W. a few days later. I followed up pretty quickly to schedule a chat, but heard nothing back. I had to follow up again to see if he was still interested, and he finally replied with a short response. We had the call, which seemed to go well, and he said he'd follow up, but I never heard back. Weeks went by, and I emailed to ask for an update. Still no response after over a month. It was really unprofessional and AspenTech seems like a company where recruiters ghost. Really disappointing.
