Candidate-reported interview process

The entire interview process felt like it took forever, over three months of actually interviewing and four months since I applied. It was a lot mentally. I tried following up a bunch but only got a generic rejection email almost a month after my last interview. Honestly, it felt too long and kind of unprofessional. I get that jobs can be competitive, but this much time and effort from me should be unacceptable, even if they offered me the job. I really hope ASPCA can make their hiring process better and quicker for everyone. The actual interviews were fine though, and the people were nice.

So the interview process had 4 interviews in total. First up was a phone screen with the People Team (they're like HR). Then I had a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I met with some other team members and leaders for the last two interviews.

The whole hiring process dragged on forever, like 3 months, and I felt like they were just keeping me hanging. The program manager was awesome, but some of the other interviewers were kinda unfriendly and seemed unprepared. They never mentioned salary or a range, which was weird. It felt like one person really liked me and another really didn't. Who knows.
